Fruit compote made with local rhubarb, simmered in freshly squeezed orange juice, with a drizzle of honey and the root of grated ginger.

Porridge made from Caudwell’s jumbo oats, with semi-skimmed milk and a hint of cinnamon.  Also good with a drizzle of honey or warm fruit compote!

Smoked salmon, served with home-made chive blinis, poached egg & a mustard and honey sauce

Smoked Haddock served with poached egg, and herbs from the garden

Home-made Moroccan beans with coconut milk and a gentle infusion of spices

No sugar! home –made baked beans

The bacon is sliced especially for me by the village butcher who also provides the sausage from Packington Pork and the black pudding. The hash browns, beans and Moroccan beans are made to my recipes.  Eggs are from my chickens. All other products are locally sourced where-ever possible with fruit from the local fruit farm; thus representing zero food miles.
